What an inspiration, what amazing people! It makes me wish I grew up with something like this around the corner!
Go there, play with all the draws, read some of the kids writing, help out, talk to the people at the desk, be amazed!!! watch out for the traps =)

Top Cleaners

Run by 2-3 people, very nice and considerate.
I've brougt in a variety or clothing, expensive, and cheap, and both come back in great condition, except for some starch spots on the collar, which all dry cleaners have for some odd reason.
I went there with some shirts once, and thy had to hand iron them because of the buttons. They would usually charge a lot more, but said, just make sure to make note of this next round...very good people.

Staff is very friendly. sake list is awesome....and the food was great...we had a bunch of the sushi specials with a crew of 6...preices may sem a bit steep, but its affordable being in nyc...
Come here with friends to catch up. Place is a bit limited on size, but the whole place can cram maybe 40-50 ppl...

I came here to meet up with a friend and his new wife, and the staff seemed to know him quite well, giving us a few freebies, and chatting wih us when free.
Great staff, pretty delicious sushi....the rolls were nothing super special, but I went to their sake bar next door and had some pretty awesome rolls which I'm sure they have at their main restaurant.
COme here for some fresh affordable sushi...dont expect anything super special, but it is good...the environment is pretty chill and clean...
Yeah, i'll come back here...it's good, fresh, and friendly...though I like their sake bar nearby best...great environment for kickin it wih friends.

Pretty cool place..being a resurrected failed temple turned into hotel/restaurant. A bit poshy, but still classy enough to wear your designer jeans though the rest of the crowd galmours in ties and coats. Most of the peeps seem like business folks, trending the nyc business late night scene.
Love the original graffitti panels surrounding the place. the drinks list is pretty huge...a whole menu for wine, a half menu for beers, and another half one for cocktails.
Came here with a group of 10 for a bday party... Everyones dish was great, but the prices were a bit steep for what ya got...maybe if your in nyc, but we're in providence yo! I got the scalllops, which cost 23$...I was expecting 5-6 pieces, but the dish came, and it was a whopping 3 pieces..damn! I was left hungry...luckily I split an order of truffle mac+cheese with someone else.
I'd come here again...but with a group...ready to chill....perhaps I'll just come here for drinks and kick it in the backroom louge which is pretty swank...candles and all. yeah, i'll come back for drinks and maybe small bites...but not for dinner cause i know many other great bites in providence...fed hill!

damn, this place is good, though sometimes overpacked. The yougurt is off and on...usually on the good side but sometimes a bit powdery for my taste. The fruits rock!...and dont forget to ask for the secret mochi topping if you like it(chewy gummies)
my only complaint is the price...seriously, the cost for dessrt is more than dinner, but hey, it's frasking tasty! spend 4-7$ for a nice cup of goodness!

Soba Koh
Category: Japanese
Neighborhood: Manhattan/East Village
Compared to Sobaya, it's not as packed, and a bit smaller....a bit more intimite, yet more modern with a vibrant environment, bricks, pictures, nice lighting, etc. The staff doesnt wear headbands so it feels a bit more grown up rather than the hustle bustle of sobayah.
The dishes seem authentic and very fresh, Some tell me they like sobaya noodles better, but I'm just going to say they are different, Sobayah is a bit more tender in the noodles and soba koh has a bit more grainy freshness to them...a bit less chewy, and more noodly like i like it...perhaps you can compare it to paste when it's al dente...hence, sobakoh gets my al dente star over sobayah.
I've only been once, but will go again for sure. They also have a killer sake menu longer than the food menu...
update: I've been back, and can confirm Soba Koh is awesome.....more authentic than Sobayah, and delicious! A must on my nyc list of healthy, taty, affordable places to eat...and its not that busy...so, it's a secret find!

Neighborhood: Inman Square
I'm a Felipes/Annas fan. ..so i was not sure what to expect.
chips, just as tasty as Oles, Chips, The salsa I love from Oles which I cant find anywhere else. It's fresh, somewaht creamy, and oooo so tasty.
Burrito, pork. Pretty fat, very filling. Ingridients are very fresh. and has a restaurant taste with a slight zest. They grill the tortilla a bit with a burn which I like.
Price $5.50 for the burritto chips. A bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. and the 2 ppl workign behind the counter are very nice as well.
They also hav an assortment of drinks to get.
I'll have to try their sandwichs this weekend, and maybe their otherw tasty dishes.
Space: it's a hole in the wall, walk in, get your food, and go. Maybe a bit of space to stand and eat inside.

I came here with 3 others and we shared the Jerk chickan, Ox tail, Goat Curry, and another chickan dish. The owner/husband even brought us some fresh made fruit bread towards the end. He also patiently spent a good amount of time explaining each dish, how it's made, and how the place was run.
The dishes are very very home made. No fancy this and that...just the good lovely warming food. Come here with some friends to catch up...have a good time... perhaps not a place for a fancy date or for graduation...but if you liek home made food and a great personality in a comfortable environment...come here!
Space is small here, but the real jewel besides the food was the staff gleaming in smiles and curisoity. But do be aware that there are 2 small tables combined to fit 6 ppl, and a few side stools for 2-3 more.
It's a bit far from the T, but parking is plentiful. We stayed until 9ish, 30 mins aftter they closed.

I came here with 2 others(3 total) ordered the tea salad (Awesome!!!! crunchy, tea like taste, and super fresh)
Then we had a mixed appetizer dish w/fried tofu triangle, a samosa like ball, and a very crispy waffer with some kind of nut. all good, very light, not heavy at all.
We also shared the pumpkin dish, super mix noodle dish, and a curry chicken dish. All very tasty and warming.
I think the tea salad impressed us th most for uniqueness. The main dishes were very good, just not as different as the salad. A couple came in later and ordered just the tea salad, so I'm guessing it might be a favorite.
I'd come here again to try the variety of food. The menu is rather large and it'll take some time to figure out what you want since everything is so new. The nice thing is that they take their time to cook everything fresh and hot. Nothing seems pre-made or frozen. so, it might take a few mins for your dish to come out...its not liek those fast food chinesee restaurants popping stuff out 2 mins after you order.
Come here for a fresh taste of burmeses food, though I'm not sure how authentic it is. It's good, but has me a bit locked between vietmenese and indian food. The pices are awesome...$4-9 for all dishes.
